Wireperson – Industrial Electrical Assembly
Location: Ashford, Kent
Full-Time | 37 hours per week | Early Friday Finish
Competitive Salary | 5 Weeks Holiday | Contributory Pension Scheme

This is a great opportunity to join a respected engineering team, working on high-quality, bespoke equipment built for industrial clients. You’ll take a hands-on role in electrical panel assembly, support testing, and play a key part in factory installations and maintenance.
About the Wireperson Role
You will be responsible for:
- Complete electrical panel assembly, including mounting and wiring of components
- Preparing equipment for testing and supporting engineers during test procedures
- Carrying out maintenance and installation of factory machinery
Working on customer-specific equipment, often built as one-offs
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Proven experience and strong technical competence in electrical wiring
- Ability to interpret Bills of Materials and electrical schematics
- 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
- Confident working independently with a high level of accuracy
Desirable:
- Background in industrial electrical assembly
- Experience working with bespoke production machinery
