A Test Engineer is required for a superb manufacturing company based in Aylesford, Kent. Working on a range of Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical equipment. You will be tasked with carrying out test programs to ensure meet fluid, airflow, and acoustic reliability and readiness. This role will be an excellent opportunity for an Engineer or Physicist looking for a varied testing role they can make their own. Paying circa £25,000 plus excellent benefits this is your opportunity to join a successful and expanding business.

Your duties as Test Engineer will include:

• Working in conjunction with R&D team to test product in the New Product Development or Project Development stage
• Carryout physical examination and testing of product and designs to ensure they are working accurately
• Develop and run testing routines to ensure products meet customer requirements and environmental considerations
• Write up test reports, suggest underlying cause for investigation if issue identified
• Project manage the test programmes, ensuring all stages of the testing regime are met include report writing
• Follow best practice for testing and validation, where necessary incorporating third party testing
• Maintenance of inhouse test facilities, monitoring serviceability and calibration of equipment, laboratory facility compliance and certification.
• Supporting customer visits and participate in technical and development review meetings.
• Facilitate and support the clear and effective flow of information with engineering, sales, and marketing teams.

This is an ideal role for a versatile, inquisitive, diligent, and thorough Engineer or Scientists who is keen to work in Testing role. It is important that you can work under your own initiative while taking guidance from the R&D and Engineering team. You will be capable of applying scientific principals and practical skills in designing and conducting tests

This is a technically exciting role which will ask of you to develop your understanding of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics), Airflow analysis and/or acoustics. An ideal role for a STEM Graduate (i.e., Mechanical Engineering or Physics) or a STEM Graduate with a year or more experience wanting to build on their experience.
