A CAD / Design Engineer is required for a rapidly expanding and ambitious Lighting company based in Kent. Paying up to £30,000 you will be joining the technical team and play a key role in supporting the design of high-end lighting systems. Being a strong CAD user, you will be looking to join a stimulating and exciting company and be keen to develop your design skills in the Lighting sector.

Your responsibilities as a CAD Technician / Design Engineer will include:

• Producing comprehensive and accurate designs for Lighting systems using 3D and 2D CAD (AutoCAD) Systems
• Assess the requirements of clients and produce designs that are fit for purpose, robust and are Designed for Manufacture (DFM)
• Answer any queries related to the design specification, assess its feasibility and verify any design considerations before the completion of final designs
• Be a point of contact for design related queries both internally and externally

To apply for this position, you will be able to demonstrate extensive experience in using a well-known CAD systems such as AutoCAD, ideally you will have some knowledge working with CAD Systems used in Architectural or Lighting system design such as Relux, Dialux or Revit (but training can be provided), this could have been gained in a commercial application or in your education.
