A Software Engineer looking to work in a dedicated multidisciplinary design and development team is required in Hastings, East Sussex. As an experienced Software Engineer or a recent graduate in Software/IT/Engineering, you will be driven by delivering robust and reliable software solutions used in electromechanical, technically exciting products.
You will be coding Software (C/C++/Python etc) for high-value niche products used in a diverse range of scientific and industrial global sectors. Paying an attractive starting salary plus extensive benefit this is a superb company to join.

You will value the autonomy and responsibility of working in a small multidisciplinary Engineering team and be able to work with all parts of the business to develop exceptional products. Your duties as a Software Engineer will include:
- The Development of Software C/C++ and Python used in bespoke Software and Imaging platforms
- Develop testing tools to support system testing function and ongoing software product development
- Support the development of test and validation procedures
- Produce and ensure the completion of all documentation and specifications related to software and testing
- Provide customer support on software issues
- Maintain version control on all software products
You will hold degree an HNC/HND/Degree in a Software, Electronics, or IT subject. Practical knowledge is just as important as academics. Therefore, non-graduates with sufficient commercial experience should also apply.
