A leading manufacturer of electrical products, headquartered in the picturesque town of Edenbridge, Kent. They are now looking for a dedicated Production Supervisor to join their team and lead a small, electrically biased assembly staff.

Key Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor

As a Production Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of our manufacturing process, ensuring the smooth assembly and wiring of products like control panels. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and planning the production of our electrical products, overseeing wiring, panel building, and fitting.
• Leading and training an experienced team of three professionals.
• Hands-on assembly work based on drawings and instructions.
• Maintaining safety protocols and efficiency standards.
• Conducting thorough inspections to ensure product quality.
• Loading and packing assembled products for storage.

Key Requirements for the Production Supervisor

To excel in this role, you should ideally have:

• An electrical qualification (e.g., time-served apprenticeship, HND, HNC, or equivalent).
• Previous experience in electrical product assembly, particularly panel building.
• Strong team management skills, with a focus on training and performance.
• Methodical approach to project management for on-time and on-budget deliveries
• A can-do attitude, a passion for meeting deadlines, and a willingness to contribute to various aspects of our business.
