An Engineering Technician is required for a leading employer in Sandwich, Kent to embark on an exciting career. Responsibilities
As a Security Systems Engineer Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting inspections, testing, planned maintenance, and system modifications
- Diagnosing and rectifying faults in security systems and safety systems
- Collaborating with third-party service providers to ensure compliance with service agreements.
- Supporting the installation of new security systems in coordination with service providers
- Performing all tasks safely and responsibly
- Providing technical expertise and support for on-site security projects.
Your Engineering Technician Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
A foundational understanding of Engineering and/or electronics and/or electrical systems.
The desire to develop expertise in security systems.
An ONC/OND/HNC/HND/Degree in engineering, electronics, electrical, or a related field (or equivalent experience in maintenance).
Prior experience in CCTV or access control systems is a plus.
